At AoPS, we got our start writing textbooks that generations of students have used to succeed in the toughest math competitions. But we didn’t stop there: we expanded to build an online school and the world's largest online community of elite middle and high school problem solvers. Soon after, we developed a rich elementary school math curriculum. Now, we're bringing these curricula and classes to learning centers across the country.
AoPS Academy instructors draw from their experiences at top-tier universities to inspire students to explore new ideas and hone advanced skills. Our math courses teach creativity, instill perseverance, and build a flexible approach to problem solving. Our language arts lessons deepen critical reading and communication skills that will serve students well in any competitive career.
We’re conveniently located for Lexington, Belmont, and Waltham families: 1088 Lexington St, just south of State Rte 2/Concord Turnpike.

We have nearly 20 years of experience in training the country's top math students: the members of the US teams that won first place in the 2018 and 2019 International Mathematical Olympiads all took AoPS courses, and so did nearly all of the USAMO winners from the last fifteen years.
As a result, Boston is already full of AoPS alumni: MIT and Harvard are packed with former AoPS students, as well as present (and future) AoPS instructors.
